Soil biology plays a vital role in determining many soil characteristics.  Soil organisms have an immense influence on soil fertility, plant growth, soil structure and carbon storage.

SoilLife increases the microbial population that is indigenous to its surrounding area.  Poor soil conditions can decimate bacteria populations to the point they are of very little use to plant growth.  

We know that soil organisms break down organic matter, making nutrients more available for plant uptake.  The nutrients stored in the bodies of soil organisms prevent nutrient loss by leaching.
